National Security Adviser says Pakistan is to become the hub of trade and economy with CPEC.
National Security Adviser Nasser Khan Janjua says Pakistan will play a better role to serve the peace and economic growth of the world with its strategic connectivity.
Addressing a seminar titled Maritime Security in India Ocean in Islamabad, he said Pakistan is on its way to become a hub of trade, economy and industry with China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
The Adviser said achievement of lasting peace in Afghanistan will pave a way to gain benefits from CPEC by Central Asian Republics as well as other states in the region.
He said Pakistan sees a great future along with Afghanistan which will come around with reconciliation, peace and stability in that country.
National Security Adviser Lieutenant General (R) Nasser Khan Janjua Monday said China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was the key to regional prosperity and sustainable peace in the region.
Talking to Ambassador of China Yao Jing, who called on him here, he said Pakistan and China shared very special and close relationship and “we regard China as a most reliable friend and a partner,” a press release said.
The security adviser assured that on CPEC Pakistan had a greater national consensus and every Pakistani was committed to this project.
The two sides expressed support for constructive efforts for peace and stability in Afghanistan.
He also apprised the ambassador about Pakistan’s efforts to forge cooperative relations with all its neighbors on the basis of mutual respect and peaceful coexistence.
